THINGS TO KNOW

ABOUT FLOWERS

Note that the color of the flowers may darken/fade during the drying process. Fresh red roses will darken up to a dark burgundy, pink roses will turn to a slight purple/grey, etc. White flowers may turn into a creamy or yellow tone. If you have any specific questions about any flowers, shoot me a message! Translucents spot may appear when the resin is poured. These spots show where they were loved on the day of your event and even before when the bouquet was created. Some tropical flowers like Arthuriums do not survive the preservation process and dry brown. We will ask you if you want to include them in the design or exclude them. It is very hot and humid here so flowers do suffer a lot during the wedding day and their preservation will depend a lot on how they were handled before and during the wedding. In any case we will do our best and trust mother nature.

ABOUT RESIN

Epoxy resin is sensitive to UV rays and will gradually amber/yellow over time. This is a part of the natural aging process of resin. Keeping it away from sunlight/ heat will slow down this process. Ambering is to be expected and cannot be prevented or fixed.

Please understand that some amount of small bubbles can and will appear when working with resin and once cured cannot be taken out of your resin piece. We do our best to minimize them but some are unavoidable. As this product is handmade using natural materials and chemicals, imperfections might occur, but that’s what makes it a unique piece of artwork to own.
